The beach is often used for water-sports including jet-skiing, wind surfing, swimming, scuba diving, surfing, canoeing, sailing, power boating and snorkeling and is regarded as one of the best bass fishing beaches in Britain.
There are breath-taking views from the beach towards Angelsey and the mountains of the Lleyn Peninsula.
